Nov 15, 2015 - Mostkovice 2 Slatinice 3
November 15, 2015
Mostkovice 2 Slatinice 3 (6th tier)
Attendance - 50
A freezing and wet November day. It was the last game of the Autumn season for me, and it ended up being quite entertaining. Most people were huddled around the bar drinking beer despite the weather. A few other people were sitting under the only covered stand, and few hardy people were standing out in the rain.

Grand Prix Prostějov - Memoriál Otmara Malečka
August 28, 2015
Grand Prix Prostějov - Memorial Otmara Malečka
Attendance - 25
The Grand Prix Prostějov has been running for a number of years and has attracted cyclists from around Europe. Attendance is higher in the evening when the finals are usually held. The velodrome in Prostějov might be torn down at some point over the next few years to make way for a new Olympic training centre.

Okresní Přebor Prostějov - Oct 10, 2015 - Přemyslovice 1 Haná Prostějov 3
Okresní Přebor Prostějov - 8th tier
October 10, 2015
Přemyslovice 1 Haná Prostějov 3
Attendance - 55
Another trip to Přemyslovice, which meant a train from Prostějov to Stražisko and from there a 3km walk over the hills to Přemyslovice. The village is in the hills, and the weather was freezing for early October.
Haná was made to work hard throughout the game and were probably quite fortunate to have a 3-0 lead at HT. Přemyslovice probably should have scored early on if not for a fantastic save from the Haná keeper. The visitors took their chances well, which could not be said for the hosts.

August 23, 2015 - SK Prostějov U17 7 Vyškov U17 2
August 23, 2015
SK Prostějov U17 7 Vyškov 2
Attendance - 85
All youth sides of SK Prostějov play at the training centre which is located on the road towards Kostelec na Hané. A few years ago it was renovated, and changing rooms were built. Previously, it was over grown, and the only thing that was being looked after was the pitch.

August 23, 2015 - Okresní Přebor Prostějov - Olšany u Prostějova 2 Haná Prostějov 1
August 23, 2015
Okresní Přebor Prostějov II třída - 8th tier
Olšany u Prostějova 2 Haná Prostějov 1
Att - 85
Olšany u Prostějova is located almost exactly between Prostějov and Olomouc. It has a population of 1,700, and seems to be growing every year. On the weekends, it is not an easy place to reach, especially when trying to watch football. I have lived in Prostějov for 8 years now, and never have been to a game in Olšany despite it only being 8km away. Haná was playing in Olšany this time, so I had to try to get to the game. I took a train from the Prostějov místní nádraží to Třebčín and from there walked 3km to Olšany.
The pitch was quite good, as it is used by 2nd and 3rd division sides for pre-season friendly matches. The facilities were standard for this level of football, so nothing really spectacular. Olšany were a little lucky to get the win, as a draw would have been a fair result, but that is football.

August 15th - Okresní Přebor Prostějov - Haná Prostějov 5 Otaslavice 2
August 15th, 2015
Okresní Přebor Prostějov II třída - 8th tier
Haná Prostějov 5 Otaslavice 2
Attendance - 40
Over the past few years, Haná has played the majority of their games on artificial turf, but for the first home match of the season they played on grass. Hopefully, this is a sign of things to come. As you can see the game had a sparse attendance which sadly has been a trend for Haná over the past few years.
Otaslavice were promoted from the III trída and looked a little out of place against Haná, but they did put in a strong first half performance.

Mladeč
Mladeč is a village of 759 people located 21km northwest of Olomouc. It is best known, at least locally, for caves which people can visit. The football team currently plays in the III třída OFS Olomouc which is the the 9th tier nationally. As far as I can tell, they have bounced around the 8th and 9th tiers over the past few seasons. Youth football began in 1968, and the men's team was formed shortly thereafter.
