Olomoucký Kraj - 1 A třída, skupina B
Bělotín 0 Haná Prostějov 2
Attendance - 100
Bělotín is a village located just outside of Hranice na Moravě, and basically sits on the border of Olomoucký Kraj. This was one of the longest trips for Haná this season, but still only about 70km by car. Unfortunately, I went by train, and to get there I had to make a few stops. On the way there, my trip looked like this, Prostějov-Olomouc-Přerov-Bělotín, and on the way back, Bělotín-Hranice na Moravě-Olomouc-Bělotín. All this to cover just 65km. The worst part was probably having to wait one hour in both Bělotín and Olomouc for the train.
I arrived a few minutes before kick-off, but by the time I reached the ground, I saw that Haná had scored their first ever goal in the 6th tier. The ground was quite simple, with a raised hill on one side. On the hill were a few wooden benches, and behind one goal was another seated area beside the pub. A few years ago, Bělotín spent one season in the 5th tier, but were relegated after they finished 3rd from the bottom.
Going into this match, I did not expect Haná to get three points. I was quietly optimistic that they might get a draw, because they have traditionally struggled while playing from the Hranice area. To make matters worse, they only had one sub, which meant that the coach had to play the last few minutes. Despite this, they scored two timely goals, and held off the Bělotín attack for a much needed victory.
