I left Prostějov early on Sunday morning, as Býškovice is one of the furthest away games for Haná and their home games kickoff at 10:15. Býškovice is a small village of around 390 people located a few kilometers from Hranice na Moravě. Getting to the village for a Sunday morning kickoff can be problematic by public transport, but it is certainly possible. However, the best way to get there is by car. The club joined with a near-by village called Horní Újezd, but I am not exactly sure when this happened.
This was a crucial match, as the hosts were sitting in 2nd place at the time, and the visitors in 3rd. The match started off slow enough, but it picked up as play went on. Both clubs seemed to be hesitant with their play. However, the referee started to make some interesting calls, which were very one sided towards the home team. This lead to a Haná player picking up a red card, after a second yellow in the first half. At the time, Haná was down 2-0, and things were not looking good. They battled back, to bring the game level at two, but the hosts scored on nearly the last play of the game to take a valuable three points.
I found it quite odd that the referee did not play any injury time at the end of the first or second half, when it was clearly called for. At the end of the match, one supporter of Býškovice said something with regards to the referee. I will not go into any further details, as it cannot be proven. Lets just say, that there were other teams in the league who had great interest in this game.
Luckily, Horní Mostěnice, the first place club, lost 3-0 over the weekend. This teams that they sit on 46pts, Býškovice has 44pts, with Haná at 43pts. Prostějov has one game in hand on these two clubs.
